We are so excited to present you with our latest look book, Winter on Main Street. Shot in old town Clifton, not far from where Trevor and I grew up. Clifton is such a quaint little town, dotted with old buildings and twinkling lights. We wanted to inspire a real home for the holidays feel. At this time of year I love to get all wrapped up in a cozy sweater, layer on my favorite jewels and go for a walk about town, perhaps do a little shopping. We love that Christmas feeling, visiting with loved ones, sharing the gratitude of life with each other. It's a beautiful time to spread some cheer! Hope you all love the look book, stop by the shop to check out some of our new beauties.

Around the Studio

I thought it would be fun to share a couple shots from around the studio at this time of year. We are gearing up for the holidays and the launch of SoulMakes new home decor line. Thew new line is a collection of lovely bohemian trinkets and wall hangings, including one of a kind dream catchers(all will be available soon)! Of course, we also have some special holiday items making their way to the shop. I'm loving our quartz crystal holiday ornaments and I can't wait to show you how we incorporated those gold dipped feathers into this collection. We also decided to make our own holiday tree this year, I collected some large pine tree branches, covered them in gold glitter and decorated them with ribbon, and the perfect little SoulMakes treats!

On a side note, The stunning patchwork lace curtains that are pictured with the dream catchers are for Trevor and I's upcoming wedding! The venue has big windows and no curtains, naturally we decided to make our own. My beautiful bridesmaids have been helping me cut out squares of lace and sheer fabric and we've been sewing it all by hand. They are the most ethereal curtains I've ever seen and they are made with so much love!

Winter Sneak Peek

 I am beyond excited to show you this amazing sneak peek of our latest look book. The images above are the raw, unedited files. We wouldn't normally show these, but we are just so blow away by each of them that we couldn't resist! Obviously, there was some magic happening during our shoot. The model, Kathleen, a friend of ours, did such a wonderful job. She looks stunning in each and every picture we captured. Trevor did a phenomenal job behind the lense and I can't wait to see the rest of these photos!

Our winter book has a sort of down home feeling to it. We shot in a quaint little old town area of Clifton ,VA. The streets are lined with mom and pop shops and eateries in lovely old buildings. There's a train track running right through town, a big red caboose on display, an old general store and to top it all off, there's twinkling lights hanging about all the buildings. It was the perfect scenery for our shoot. Imagine your home for the holidays.. You're all cozied up in a winter layers, walking through that special place where you grew up, taking in all those warm memories. It's such a magical time of year and you're so delighted to be right where you are, visiting with old friends and loved ones. I can't wait to show you guys the finished book!
