We are loving every moment in our new home and the surrounding area! We are about a half hour away from Leesburg, VA, which is a gorgeous little area full of antique shops and farmers markets. Last week I mentioned that we had found an amazing flea market not far from home, we went back this weekend, like good furniture addicts and this time we took some pics. The flea is held by the Old Lucketts store, which is an amazing (huge) antique/vintage shop set on a big green field with lots of little buildings scattered about and full of treasures. Every weekend they hold a little flea market where sellers come in with their best bargains and every first Friday of the month is the big flea, where every inch of their property is covered in goods to dig through! I can not wait to show you all what furniture we got. We made out like bandits! This weekend we met the most wonderful artist/seller,  Dale Weller, selling a mix of his own welding work and some vintage finds. He hooked us up with a great deal on a set of rattan patio furniture, tin tiles and a gorgeous little iron table he had upcycled himself. I'll definitely be posting pics later, but be sure to check out his amazing craft here. We're definitely going to be ordering some custom work from him for the new place!

We could wander around the Old Lucketts Store for hours, there's so much to see! Inside the shop itself there's so many wonders to be found, from cowboy boots to furniture, door knobs and flow lamps. Naturally, I picked up several more old glass bottles and a pair of antlers. Trevor found an amazing vintage Stetson vest with snake skin detailing.  Right outside the front door there's an amazing lemonade stand with local lemonade, delicious brownies and sandwiches. I wouldn't be surprised if we go again next weekend (or maybe every weekend for all of time). The drive back from Lucketts offers a lush view of local farms and fields and there's lots of stops to made along the way. There's antique stores and farmers markets lining the road. This time we stopped at a great market, with tons of bright, fresh produce, mums and ciders. We got ourselves a big bottle of cherry cider to sip on while we sit on our new patio furniture and enjoy the fall breeze!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
