This weekend we headed out to Annapolis to check out HERE. a pop-up shop. It's a little traveling shop filled with local, handmade artisan goods and SoulMakes was so happy to be a part of it! We had to stop by to see our display and all the other beautiful artwork!
Annapolis is a a beautiful, historic, small town in Maryland right off the Chesapeake Bay. I had never really been before, so we made a day of wandering around. The streets of Annapolis are lined with gorgeous, colorful architecture, the bay is filled with boats and since the Naval Academy is right in the heart of town, there's sailors walking around everywhere!
We had lunch at the most amazing deli, Chick & Ruth's. It's definitely the place to eat if you ever in Annapolis. These guys pause every morning at 9 AM to say the Pledge of Allegiance, how cool is that?! It's a pretty narrow little restaurant and I'm guessing there's always a wait, but the food and the experience is well worth it. I had the most delicious sandwich and shake!
It was such a wonderful trip!
Hope you all had a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful and wonderful moms out there!
Love,
MacK Mars
