Mid-Week Inspiration

I've been a little quiet here on the blog this week, mostly because I've been really sick. I pretty much spent the entire weekend in bed with a fever, so I didn't have any weekend update for you. And I'm sad to say, there is no Wednesday - What I'm Working on. Although, we do have some pretty exciting things happening here at SoulMakes. I've mostly been stocking up on items that are already in the shop in preparation for a few events we have coming up! I've also been working on a lot of unisex items because we will be doing a photo this weekend for the new line,  with a man and a woman and a bike. I am so excited, here's some of my inspiration...

Something like that. I have two really awesome biker friends coming to help us with the shoot!

Wednesday - What I'm Working On

I have made so many things this week! All my new beads from the bead show have really got me going. Hopefully we'll be able to put some new items in the Shop very soon! In the meantime he's a preview..

I'm really fond of this one..Wire wrapped turquoise chips and coral chips..

And on another note, we picked up this old printing press tray at the flea market a while back. I wanted to use it for my beads but I wasn't really sure how... Trevor came up with the brilliant idea of attaching it to my desk as a drawer, he's the best..

So this is pretty much the coolest drawer in the history of everything :)

Weekend Update - Bead Show

This weekend was so much fun! We spent pretty much the entire day at the bead show on saturday. We  completely replenished our supplies and got some new supplies too! Watch out for new items in the Shop.

I'm REALLY excited to do something with these stones!

We made sure to stock up on skulls, since our Skull Bracelets have been a top seller :)

When we got back home we spent some time doing an inventory of our new supplies, this is a necessary part of running a healthy business..

In the past I've been to bead shows just for myself, ya know bought a few items and made myself some pretty jewelry. But the last few times I've gotten to go as a business owner, which is a whole different ball park. We are investing back into our company, which is growing every day, this is pretty much a dream come true. I'm not all that great with money matters and business, but luckily I'm part of team and Trevy is so good with that stuff! Did I mention that he was such a good bargainer at the show? I feel so blessed and grateful!
