A few weeks ago we headed out to upstate New York for a wedding. Being the wanderers that we are, we took our time on the drive there and back, stopping in cozy little towns to explore. We discovered all kinds of amazing antique stores in Western Pensylvania. Amidst a maze of gorgeous antiques that seemed to go on miles, I found a bright red, vintage huffy bike. It was love at first site. Not only was it super inexpensive, it is in tip top shape! And what kind of crazy artist lady would I be if I didn't immediately take her home and decorate her?!
I filled my bike basket with my favorite little antique bottles, overflowing with fresh flowers of course. I grabbed one of our gorgeous, new kantha throws, put on my most summer-in-the-70s outfit, complete with tons of (new) SoulMakes jewels, and went out for a little stroll! I felt like queen of sunshine cruisin around on this bad boy. There's such a sensation of freedom and a bit of child-like wonderment that comes with riding a bike. Also, I couldn't resist the American Flag top for Memorial Day! Hope you all have a gorgeous long weekend!
I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free
And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
